2007 Mid-Season Changes
For the Michigan State vs. Boston College game on December 28, 2007 (24 – 21 Loss), Michigan State wore a Champs Sports Bowl patch on the right shoulder.
2008 Season Changes
Home Pants
A wide, green stripe was added to the pants worn for the home games
2008 Mid-Season Changes
For the Michigan State vs. Georgia game on January 1, 2009 (24 – 12 Loss), Michigan State wore a Capital One Bowl patch on the right shoulder.
2009 Season Changes
Helmet
During the 2009 season, Michigan State wore a state of Michigan decal on the back of the helmet – the decal, dubbed “Silver Lining” was intended to demonstrate that Michigan State University was committed to ensuring a bright future for the residents of the state of Michigan
2009 Mid-Season Changes
For the Michigan State vs. Texas Tech game on January 2, 2010 (41 – 31 Loss), Michigan State wore a Valero Alamo Bowl patch on the right shoulder.
