Tom Izzo Era Michigan State Basketball Jerseys
When Tom Izzo took over the head coaching position for Jud Heathcote in 1995, his team took the floor wearing jerseys made by Reebok that featured a new arch logo where the word "Michigan" spans over the large and tall word "State."
After winning the National Championship in 2000, Michigan State switched to basketball jerseys made by Nike. The new jerseys featured a new “State” script logo, modernized from 1979's “State” script. Over the next 10 years, the jerseys have changed styles three more times, but the “State” script logo remained.
Tom Izzo’s current record at Michigan State is 364–146 with a National Championship in 2000, six Final Fours, six Big Ten Championships, two Big Ten Tournament Championships and thirteen straight trips to the NCAA tournament.
