The Michigan State Helmet Logo on the belt buckle is now surrounded by a bronze rectangle
On the green away shorts, the color of the waistband was changed from white to green to match the rest of the shorts

2017 - 2018 Season Changes
Black rectangular “JUD” patch with white letters was added to the jersey, honoring the late Jud Heathcote, who coached the Spartans from 1976-1995. Jud died on August 28, 2017 at the age of 90.
