2010 - 2011 Mid-Season Changes

• Beginning with the Michigan State vs. Chaminade game on November 22, 2010 (82 - 74 Win) at the Maui Invitational, and for the remaining games of the 2010 - 2011 season, Michigan State wore a United States flag patch on the left shoulder, a request by Coach Izzo as a way of honoring all of the men and women in the military.
• For the Michigan State vs. UCLA game on March 17, 2011 (78 - 76 Loss), Michigan State wore a patch on their left shoulder commemorating the NCAA tournament, which was a blue circle with the NCAA logo in white - all 65 teams invited to the tournament wore the same patch on either their right or left shoulder
